This is the final clinical subject in oral health therapy which further develops a deeper learning in advanced clinical skills. The subject provides optimum opportunity to apply professional integrity, self motivation, self assurance and self direction. Advanced concepts in models of behaviour change and preventive and therapeutic oral health care will be covered. The knowledge and competency skills acquired throughout the program are integrated within this subject content as students prepare for entry to practice. Students cannot complete this subject unless all competencies are completed which are required for registration as an oral health practitioner with AHPRA. Students will display a high level of professionalism and ethical behaviour.
