EMA117 The Creative Arts: The Creative Process (8)

In this subject, students will explore the creative process and engage with workshops focussed on the arts domains: music, visual arts, drama, dance and media. They will construct their personal creative narrative, to describe, discuss and document their processes and responses to the creative arts disciplines and to determine the direction of their future learning. Students will use cooperative and collaborative processes to challenge and validate their ideas. Students will reflect on their own creative arts history, and establish the importance of self and its presentation to an individuals life through the knowledge processes of the arts. They will present their creative artefacts in an online environment.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

  • be able to express and enact ideas, and emotions through dramatic presentation;
