This subject extends students' knowledge and practice of mathematics teaching and learning. It covers a range of strategies for teaching and assessing mathematics, with a focus on ways of differentiating the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom. The subject explores the use of ICT in mathematics classrooms. It examines the role and value of mathematics in the broader school curriculum in the context of important social and cultural issues in the teaching of mathematics.
