This subject explores a range of approaches to Design and Technology education in years 7-12. It identifies the position of design and technology in the school curriculum and explores design and the design process as concepts and their role in teaching and learning. It assists students construct Design and Technology technology-specific lessons and program units of study that are challenging, engaging, and supportive of student learning. Students will be introduced to practical student-centred learning in Design and Technology education.
