This subject contains a 30 days Compulsory Workplace Learning component.
This subject will involve 30 days professional experience in a school setting as required for accreditation.
As this subject includes the final secondary school placement for their course, it draws together students' development as secondary teachers. Through analysis of their personal practice, completing the subject will also enable them to plan for their initial period of their teaching career. During the professional experience placement, the students will in collaboration with their associate teachers, plan the delivery of their lessons, implement lessons, and assess learning as appropriate to their classes. The number of days completed will depend on accreditation requirements and course design.
