This subject will develop your understanding of the research process across two sessions of study. You will carefully formulate a research question, addressing an identified gap or weakness in the existing research literature presenting the outcome as a literature review. You will then plan a research project to address this question, and seek approval from the appropriate ethics committee(s) to conduct your planned project. During this process, with the support of at least one Honours research supervisor, you will develop your skills in critical reading, academic writing, and time management, and produce work that you will be able to incorporate in the 'publishable article' component of your HLT441 Honours dissertation next year.
