This subject is the final stage of the research/investigation component of the Doctor of Health Science. It is the culmination of the students' investigation/research of their professional practice and its context. Students prepare a portfolio with exegesis showing how their investigation has led to (or will lead to) changes in work practices and/or advancement of knowledge. The portfolio will be prepared under the guidance of the principal supervisor,who will incorporate results (eg. publications/reports etc) prepared as part of HSC703 and be assessed externally in accordance with University regulations.
As an AQF level 10 subject, students will be expected to display systematic and critical understanding of a specific discipline in their chosen area of professional practice. The graduate will be a leading expert and practitioner in their field of research.
