Data, increasingly digital and "big", surrounds us in organisations and our personal lives. Curation and management of data involves ensuring its usability and accessibility into the future requires new strategies, practices, tools and techniques and is a burgeoning area of employment. This subject explores data curation from the the point of data creation throught the data lifecycle of description, use, storage, accessibility and understandability over time, to future usability and use.
