This subject is provides experience in guided research for students who intend to continue from the Bachelor of
Islamic Studies to Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Honours). As a result, enrolment in this subject requires the approval of the Subject coordinator. The subject allows for the research of an approved topic in a chosen Islamic Studies sub-discipline, to be determined in consultation with the Subject coordinator. Students are expected to demonstrate the use of appropriate methodology, research, writing
and communication skills through the presentation of a major essay in their topic area.
