This subject examines how information systems are used to achieve a company's strategic objectives. Business strategic planning tools and techniques are examined. The need for information systems strategic planning is analysed within the modern environment of industry and commerce. Alignment and optimisation of technology investment is made achievable by the creation of continued improvement procedures.
