This subject will provide students with knowledge and skills in resolving issues concerning network connectivity, desktop operating systems, security, and applications. Their experience should also include addressing logon problems, performing password resets, and resolving most issues with desktop applications.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

- be able to install and upgrade Windows desktops;
- be able to configure and troubleshoot post-installation system settings;
- be able to configure Windows Security features;
- be able to configure network connectivity;
- be able to configure applications included with Windows desktops;
- be able to maintain and optimize systems that run Windows desktops;
- be able to configure and troubleshoot mobile computing using Windows desktops.
