This subject examines the way the law regulates and imposes legal constraints on environmental management and land use planning. This regulation is then critically analysed and examined by undertaking a study of the regulation that affects a chosen industry. Students are encouraged to evaluate the effectiveness of the law in regulating environmental values and consider alternative methods of managing the legal issues that confront the conservation and protection of the environment.
