This subject aims to develop students' skills in imaginative writing by focussing on specific techniques and genres. It is organised into two modules: short fiction and poetry. The subject will consist of seminars and workshops on various aspects of writing - conceptual, developmental and practical. Tuition by visiting writers-in-residence will be a feature of this subject.
