Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to design, compose and deliver a professional presentation;
  • be able to identify and analyse challenges and obstacles to effective business communications;
  • be able to analyse and apply practical communication techniques and methods;
  • be able to critically evaluate current human communication theory and apply this in a business context;
  • be able to facilitate business outcomes by using effective personal communication; and
  • be able to compare and contrast the role and use of digital media and communications mediums for professional and business outcomes.
