This subject studies recent developments in the Asia-Pacific region and their implications for international business. A thematic approach is used to analyse economic systems, political systems and business culture in the region. Physical geography and natural resource endowments are discussed. Case studies provide detailed analysis of issues and problems in a number of countries. Australia's changing role in the region is assessed.
