MGT565 Business Research Project (16)

This subject provides students with the opportunity to undertake an applied business research project within their workplace. The subject covers all relevant aspects of applied business research from project formulation through to method selection, collection and analysis of appropriate information and eventual report writing.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to examine and articulate the meaning of action research and how it relates to contemporary business issues;
  • be able to plan and design a research project;
  • be able to construct a detailed literature review;
  • be able to analyse and evaluate data collection techniques and interpret the results; and
  • be able to construct and present a research report.

  • Qualitative/quantitative research

  • Data/information analysis and interpretation
  • Writing a research report
