MIS310 Radiological Instrumentation 3 (8)

This subject will provide knowledge and understanding of the physical components instrumentation and principles of specialised areas of medical imaging of computed tomography (CT), angiography, mammography and other specialised modalities. The understanding of these principles will enable the ability to optimise the equipment when undertaking various imaging examinations. Knowledge of these principles will also allow adoption of examination protocols to best suit the patient and the imaging examination objectives.
