PHL408 Special Topic in Philosophy B (8)

This subject will involve in-depth reading and/or seminars in a topic of contemporary philosophical interest.
It provides an opportunity for students to extend their philosophical skills and knowledge within an area of
philosophy that is of particular interest to them. Special topic proposals must be negotiated with the
appropriate supervisor.

  • Be able to present a clear and coherent exposition and critical evaluation of philosophical knowledge and ideas relevant to the chosen special topic

  • Topic/s will be set by the appropriate supervisor, in consultation with all Philosophy academic staff members and with the students enrolled in the subject.
