PKM260 Planning Environmental Education and Interpretation (8)

What is the best way to get your message across to your visitors? This subject at the important role of communication planning and in particular environmental education and interpretation in environmental management and ecotourism operations. The subject looks at the theory and practice of public communication planning for government agencies and ecotourism operations. The main issues covered include identification of the audience, the use of media, the preparation of an interpretation plan, and the use of different media. The subject has no residential school. On completion, student will be apply their knowledge and initiative to plan and design interpretive and environmental education materials in a range of contexts.
