This subject deals with the theory, practice and management of guiding for ecotourism, adventure tourism and related recreation activities. It builds on existing knowledge of interpretation, environmental education and outdoor recreation to focus on personal heritage and environmental interpretation techniques and interpersonal communication.The subject has no residential school. On completion, students are able to plan and deliver effective interpretive guided activities and programs.
