This subject is designed to provide the minimum knowledge and concepts in physics required by a student who is enrolling into a typical first year tertiary physics subject. It will include modules on mechanics, heat, wave motion, light and sound, electricity and magnetism, and atomic and nuclear physics. The subject is particularly relevant to those students pursuing a range of science courses including the Medical Radiation Science undergraduate program.
