Students will require access to an industry standard 3D Modelling/Rendering and Digital Compositing software suite.
The subject explores the art and science of digital compositing as used in the production processes for conventional and hybrid multimedia. Students are introduced to the software and techniques used to digitally manipulate combinations of source images to produce integrated results for informational, artistic, educational and entertainment contexts.

Students are assumed to have a demonstrable knowledge of the practice of producing visual images for a range of media uses before entering this subject. Students who do not have a working knowledge of introductory animation and image compositing are advised to undertake CCI102 first.
