Admission Criteria

CSU Admission Policy

CSU uses Academic Selection Criteria to assess applicants for entry into the Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP) which applies to both applicants wishing to study full-time on campus and those choosing to study by distance education.

The minimum academic entry standard for all applicants is successful completion of the University Certificate in Workforce Essentials (UCWE).

The total maximum academic score an applicant can achieve is 40 points which is a combination of the UCWE grade with other academic qualifications.

Academic eligibility is only one component contributing to an applicants progression into the eligibility pool, other components are assessed through the NSW Police Force recruitment process. The results in all components may determine how quickly an applicant gains admission to the course, as offers into the Associate Degree in Policing Practice will be made to the most competitive applicants.
