Applicants for the Bachelor of Computing (Honours) must meet the following Admission Requirements:
* A Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related disciplines (such as Computer Science and Software Engineering) from an Australian University or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent. Applicants with a Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts or other AQF equivalent degrees with a computing major or specialisation may also be considered.
AND
* Have achieved that degree with an overall GPA of credit average or higher.
English Language Proficiency
Minimum CSU English Language Proficiency Requirements apply.
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.
The 64 point Bachelor of Computing (Honours) consists of a dissertation component (48 points) and a coursework component (16 points). The dissertation component is made of the core subject and compulsory subject/s. The coursework component is made of restricted elective subject/s.

HRC416 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation 16 points
Compulsory Subjects:
For Full-time Students
HRC432 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation 32 points
For Part-time Students
HRC417 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation 16 points
HRC418 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation 16 points
Restricted Electives - 16 points
ITC532 - Computing Honours Research Preparation - 16 points
OR
any other two 8 point subjects or one 16 point subject (at the level 4 or 5) approved by the Course Coordinator and the student's supervisor.
Total 64 points

HRC416 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation - 16 points.
Plus any of the following subjects to make up 16 points.
ITC532 - Computing Honours Research Preparation - 16 points.
STA 401 - Postgraduate Scientific Statistics - 8 points.
Any other subject/s at the level of 4 or 5 - 8 points.
Session 2:
HRC432 - Computing Honours Project/Dissertation - 32 points.
The enrolment pattern for Part-time students is as follows.
Session 1:
Any of the following subjects to make up 16 points.
ITC532 - Computing Honours Research Preparation - 16 points.
STA 401 - Postgraduate Scientific Statistics - 8 points.
Any other subject/s at the level of 4 or 5 - 8 points.
Session 2:
