Normal course duration is the effective period of time taken to complete a course when studied Full-time (Full-time Equivalent Duration). Students are advised to consult the Enrolment Pattern for the actual length of study. Not all courses are offered in Full-time mode.
For entry to the Master of Business Leadership, applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) PLUS relevant professional attainment/work experience.
Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership on the basis of professional attainment/work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate, students will be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Leadership and receive credit for applicable subjects.
Graduates of CSU's Graduate Diploma of Organisational Coaching and Leadership will be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Leadership with full credits as per IECL agreements.
Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) PLUS relevant professional attainment/work experience. Applicants may also be considered on the basis of relevant professional attainment and/or work experience alone.
Standard credit package applies to IECL students who complete the Graduate Diploma of Organisational Coaching and Leadership.
The Master, Graduate Diploma [Exit Point Only] and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
Master of Business Leadership
The course comprises the following subjects:
MGT599 Leadership Theory and Practice (16 points) - double subject studied in one session
MGT569 The Leadership Challenge
MGT559 Contemporary Issues in Leadership
Completion of the above subjects allows students to exit with the Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership (32 points)
MGT584 Leadership in Teams
MGT568 Difference and Leadership

Completion of the above subjects allows students to exit with the Graduate Diploma of Business Leadership (64 points)

*Electives to be selected from any 500 Level Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences subject. The level of a subject is designated by the first digit in the subject code; e.g., MGT599 is a 500 Level subject.

Master of Business Leadership (Articulated Set)
There is no prescribed enrolment pattern because of the flexibility of the course. However, it is recommended that students progressively complete subjects in the Graduate Certificate, then the Graduate Diploma and finally the Masters.
