This subjects requires students to have access to specialist performance spaces.
In this subject, students are provided with a transdisciplinary approach to actor training. In order to create fully rounded artists, students are exposed to a variety of methods and practices of integrating voice, movement, acting and contemporary performance practices. This subject also exposes students to a wide variety of texts and styles; it will not only deal with the fundamentals of voice and body synergy, it will enable the student to grow and develop physical and vocal awareness through concentration, focus, control and energy. Emphasis will be on the freeing of the natural, individual voice and exploring individuals heightened movement potential while consolidating the body and the voice.
