Understanding of organisational culture and change are essential for organisational communication professionals. This subject critically examines external pressures to change, such as sustainability, employee and community engagement, demographics, responsibility, reputation and gaining competitive advantage. It explores methods used by organisations to identify, meet and manage stakeholder expectations. It explores and critiques concepts of corporate culture, and the implications of organisational change for organisational communication professionals.  Students explore principles, theory and case studies of contemporary practice and strategies for meeting and managing stakeholder expectations.
