This subject presents the essential elements of human resource management (HRM) in information agencies. It introduces students to HRM concepts, theories and functions which will enable them to apply successful HRM strategies in their workplace. Students will examine how HRM functions and strategic human resource issues inform the process of strategy formulation and implementation to help an information agency to perform successfully and to gain competitive advantage.
