This subject builds on ISL465 and introduces advanced Arabic grammatical rules in the further use of nouns in complex sentence structures and tenses. Classification of sentences, sentence analysis and use of particles will be addressed. The course also introduces the science of rhetoric for the first time. Students will have exposure and as a result an appreciation of Arabic poetry. Writing, reading, speaking and comprehension practice is included to build further proficiency in the Arabic language.
