Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

  • be able to install and configure peripheral devices;
  • be able to identify types and characteristics of portable computers;
  • be able to install and configure Microsoft Windows;
  • be able to perform basic PC maintenance and troubleshooting;
  • be able to demonstrate fundamental principles of securing IT systems and working safely;
  • be able to install and configure print and imaging devices;
  • be able to describe fundamental principles of implementing LANs and internet access.
