This subject is for support professionals who will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing and supporting a network infrastructure that uses the Microsoft Windows 2003 Server products. The subject discusses domain name systems (DNS), Windows internet naming service (WINS) and DHCP servers and covers in detail how to design, install, configure and troubleshoot a Windows 2003 network environment. It deals with planning the infrastructure of a network, installing protocols, different name resolution techniques and automating IP address allocation.
