This subject examines the statutory environment of banking and financial businesses, and the law affecting relationships between bankers and their customers. It covers the legal relationship between participants in financial transactions, including creditors. The subject also includes a detailed analysis of negotiable instruments and other common financial instruments and securities, including the securities legislation. It identifies issues for financial advisors and examines issues in corporate finance, electronic banking and commerce.
