International Studies (China) is a unit that aims to provide students with the wherewithal to engage in social and business interactions in Chinese contexts. The unit examines Chinese language, culture and history from the perspective of providing a basis for understanding China's present and future place in the international business environment. The unit also requires students to demonstrate the capacity to identify and assess Australia?China business opportunities. Central to achieving the unit's objectives are a two-week group study tour of China and interactions with Australian companies doing business in China.
