This subject covers the concepts of physics and instrumentation in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It briefly reviews the basic physics principles of MRI and extensively considers the physics of advanced principles and techniques.
The following subject topics will be extensively covered:
MR safety, MR quality assurance, perfusion, fMRI, non proton imaging, coil design, MR angiography, MR spectroscopy, diffusion, 3D sequences, MR contrast, fat suppression techniques and K-space sampling.
