Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • understand the benefits of a team development exercise
  • discuss the emergence of the team idea
  • argue a case as to what constitutes an effective team
  • compare and contrast your own team to the effective team
  • demonstrate a relationship between people and productivity.
  • analyse team dynamics in terms of goals, roles, and procedures.
  • undertake a small team intervention to uncover a problem
  • provide tentative recommendations for the amelioration of team problems uncovered by surveyfeedback techniques.
