Working in the outdoors means you need to make ethical decisions. This subject introduces you to some environmental philosophers and philosophies behind outdoor education. A number of outdoor education programs will be examined. Students will be encouraged to explore their own personal environmental philosophy and undertake a range of outdoor education activities.. The subject has no residential school for students who take this subject by distance. On completion. students are able to use initiative, sound judgement, problem solving skills, and design and delivery skills to implement effective outdoor education programs.
