Enrolment Restrictions

Students enrolled in the Master of Professional Psychology

Assumed Knowledge

 Prior completion of or concurrent enrolment in PSY533 and PSY534. Students who do not satisfy these criteria are required to obtain the Course Coordinators approval prior to enrolling in this subject

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to demonstrate the planning of an evidence-based psychological intervention
  • be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance on supervisor evaluation

Syllabus

This subject will cover the following topics:
  • The subject will require students to undertake a placement that will focus on clinical psychology skills in a practical setting

Workplace Learning

This subject contains a 20 days Compulsory Workplace Learning component.

In this subject students undertake the first of  two 150 hour placements in an area of professional psychology practice.
