REC111 is a subject that builds on the skills and knowledge obtained in REC110. Students further develop outdoor leadership competence and gain experience in small group leadership in outdoor recreation. Knowledge of safety/risk management, trip planning and remote area first aid are developed. Specialised training in various outdoor recreation activities will be an intrinsic part of the subject.
