This subject allows students to gain an appreciation of a range of aspects of the international horse industry. Students will undertake a substantial visit overseas where they will observe practice and activities that they may not normally encounter in Australia. On successful completion of this subject students will have expanded their equine industry knowledge base and deepened their appreciation of drivers of the international horse industry. This subject requires students to travel internationally for several weeks.

This subject is designed for the Bachelor of Equine Science and the Bachelor of Equine Science (Business Management); however, Bachelor of Animal Science and Bachelor of Animal Science (Honours) students may also enrol at the discretion of the Subject Coordinator and appropriate Course Director.
