CCI201 Creative Collaboration (8)

This subject introduces students to a range of models, tools and techniques for generating new creative and collaborative project driven works. Students work in disciplinary, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary contexts towards the generation of new creative capital in a range of forms. Students research, analyse and critique historical and contemporary relationships between storytelling & creative practice to the sustainability of cultures through projects that interrogate personal perspectives on imagined and speculative futures in human and other-than-human relationships.

Assumed Knowledge

It is assumed students in Creative Collaboration have a preliminary understanding of the ways their creative disciplinarity is being challenged through digital disruption, and to have undertaken a range of preliminary disciplinary and interdisciplinary creative study that can be applied in a creative industries project context.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to critique the relationship storytelling & creative practice has to the sustainability of cultures;
  • be able to work effectively in disciplinary, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary contexts;
  • be able to apply principles of project planning and production management to the generation of new cultural capital; and
  • be able to ideate and create value across discipline boundaries in a range of speculative contexts.
