EEL426 Adoption of Open Educational Practices (4)

This subject offers a detailed overview of the development, current trends (including commons licensing, internet protocol addresses and technological developments) and future directions of openness in education. Through a series of online discussions, desk research and interactive presentations, educators, managers and trainers from all sectors will be able to understand the benefits of open education and harness it to positively impact upon professional contexts. The subject provides opportunities for students to consider how open educational resources hold potential to reconfigure policy, course development, teaching/learning delivery, and accreditation.
