EPI105 Technology Design Contexts (8)

This subject enables students to engage with six technology context areas in order for them to be accredited to teach design and technology in secondary schools. Students will experience and learn to select and safely use materials and tools in the contexts of timber, food, mixed materials, textiles, electronics, and graphics technologies. Consideration of and reflection upon practical experiences is designed to consolidate and extend learning. Knowledge and skills gained in this subject will also be extended in design and discipline specific studies, as well as professional placements.

No offerings have been identified for this subject in 2020.

Where differences exist between the Handbook and the SAL, the SAL should be taken as containing the correct subject offering details.
