A guided professional experience placement in a Birth - 2 years setting.
This subject offers students opportunities to observe, plan, implement and reflect upon experiences for children birth - two years of age. Students will consult with families and other primary caregivers to address individual capacities of children birth two years in group settings and respond positively to family and community cultures in caregiving and education practices. This subject takes an ecological approach to exploring the interactions between young children and the environment in which they live. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the implementation of quality environments and leadership in birth two educational settings. The professional experience aspect of this subject is designed to take into account students' previous birth two subject content. The placement will take place over a period of 20 days.
