This subject has two purposes:
First, it provides an overview of the course that covers the overall course structure and progression planning;
- the role and structure of the specialisations and joint studies and advice on how to progress through them; and
- the unique Work Integrated Learning and transferrable skills components of the course.
Second, it provides the platform for the first Work Integrated Learning experience of the course. This entails representatives from industry and community sectors providing information on the kind of skills, knowledge and principles that are valued in the respective industry/sector;
- workforce/industry expectations and standards; and
- the future outlook of the respective industry/sector.
Students will be required to engage with this information and reflect on their own potential career trajectory.
