ITC292 Network Security (8)

As the threat landscape rapidly evolves, managing information technology (IT) network risk is of paramount importance to most organisations. This subject provides students with knowledge and skills in fundamental network security principles and practices. Students will be introduced to a range of key network security concepts and network security protocols, such as types of security threats, cryptography, wireless network security, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) security. Some of the practices related to network security management will be briefly explored, focusing on network vulnerability and risk assessment.

No offerings have been identified for this subject in 2020.
