The subject introduces the strategic nature of managing people who report directly to front line managers. It covers work allocation, methods to review performance, rewarding excellence and providing constructive feedback where improvement is identified. The subject makes the link between performance management and development to ensure key result areas and key performance indicators and standards are set and adhered to in a way that supports a positive organisational culture.
