Business research plays an important role in informing business decisions for managers, marketers, human resource advisors, analysts and other business professionals. Research can be used more effectively if managers understand the processes and techniques that have generated research findings. This subject introduces the principles of business research methods. Students will develop the skills needed to identify the research problem, plan, design and implement a business research project and analyse and interpret the findings. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods are examined. The principles of ethics in research and research report writing are also examined.
