This subject provides students with a detailed understanding of common diseases and conditions associated with childhood and adolescence, with a focus on the lower extremity. It equips students with foundation knowledge of child development from preconception to adolescence. In conjunction with the students previous clinical knowledge, on completion of this subject the student will be able to work with children, young persons and their families, as part of a multidisciplinary team, to enhance mobility and independence.
