SPH532 Clinical Reasoning for Integrated Client Care in Speech Pathology (8)

In this subject students extend their knowledge and skills of client care in speech pathology practice. Students integrate their existing knowledge and skills and apply these to clinical reasoning in the context of clients with coexisting communication and/or swallowing difficulties. The cases require integration of knowledge across range of practice areas and/or between populations. Students will seek new
information relevant to each case study, and develop skills in seeking appropriate support for working with clients with coexisting communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Scaffolding will be provided to support students' development of independent analysis and synthesis of holistic client and context data.
