This subject will review the necessary mathematics and statistics prerequisite skills required by students about to study subjects including Business Statistics (QBM117), Scientific Statistics (STA201), Postgraduate Scientific Statistics (STA401/501), Mathematics and Statistics in Health Sciences (MTH135), Business Data Analysis (QBM120), Foundations of Psychology 2 (PSY102) and An Introduction to Research, Ethics and Reasoning (PSY115). The topics to be covered include basic numeracy, calculator skills, introductory algebra, straight line graphs, introductory probability and statistics.
